What do I have to do to continue my education and earn an associates' degree?

Once you have completed the requirements for the veterinary Assisting Certificate, you can continue your studies in the Distance Education Veterinary Technology Program to earn your Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology.  You must complete additional veterinary technology courses, a practicum, and additional general education courses . These may be available at your local community college or through distance learning at inexpensive rates. Please see Becoming a Credentialed Technician and the CVC catalog for requirement details.
