Cedar Valley College is accredited as an institution of higher learning by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. 

Veterinary Assisting Programs are NOT accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
