1. Go to the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) website
2. Click on the Licensing Requirements link on the left side of the page
3. From the drop down box, select the state you are interested in. If there are two listings for the same state, select the one with the asterisk. (If asterisk is present, a group other than that state's veterinary licensing board is responsible for technicians). Then click on the “Select” button.
4. Then click on the See Veterinary Technician Requirements link.
