On Campus Requirements

For accreditation reasons, DEVTP is required to evaluate the skills and competencies of all program graduates prior to completion of the DEVTP curriculum. As such, before students can graduate from the DEVTP program they will be required to submit capstone product submissions, or in lieu of product submissions, students may take a final practical examination at the Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technology Facilities.

The capstone submissions or final on-campus examinations are in the following subject areas:

1. Surgical Preparation and Assistance

2. Radiology and Ultrasound

3. Examination Procedures

4. General Hospital and Clinic Information
