Student Registration

Registration for Level 4 Courses

Registration for Level 4 Courses is handled by the CVC Veterinary Technology Department. Students can register for courses by phone, mail, or fax. Payment for courses is expected at the time of registration. To register for any Level 4 course you must first be advised by the DEVTP staff. Contact the DEVTP at 877/353-3482 (toll-free) for advisement.

To register for Level 4 classes you must meet the following criteria:

1. Each clinic, hospital, or location MUST be approved as an off-campus clinical instruction site must have a current Preceptor Agreement, Facility Agreement, and Hospital Standards Agreement on file in the DEVTP office. If there is ever any doubt about the OCCI status of a practice the student should immediately contact the program at 1-877-353-3482 (toll free).
2. Students MUST have a completed Health Risk Acknowledgement and Agreement and Release of Liability on file in the DEVTP office.
3. Students MUST have completed and submitted an application to the DEVTP program, an application to the DCCCD/CVC, and have original transcripts on file from any previous colleges.
4. Students MUST have completed all of the required prerequisite courses, math, biology, speech, and English, and all of the Level 3 classes. Students may register in Level 4 courses if they are concurrently enrolled in the appropriate Level 3 courses their first term in Level 4 courses. If students do not successfully complete the required Level 3 class(es) then they will not be allowed to enroll in Level 4 classes until they have met the prerequisite requirements.
